SEARCH TIPS GUIDE
To get the most out of the documented search engine Ad Concordiam follow the following tips.
1. Exact word
Type the exact word or term object of the search and check the option "Exact word".
2. Any of these words
Type the words or terms you want to search for separated by space or comma, and check the option "Any of these words".
3. Segmentation of searches
To segment searches there are several categories such as SECTION, AUTHOR, TOPIC, and SUBTOPIC, creating criteria to be able to carry out more specific searches.
Initially, only the SECTION category will be active, but depending on the option selected, the related categories such as AUTHOR, TOPIC, and SUBTOPIC may be activated.
Examples:
If you select in SECTION “News” or "Origin and Content”, no other search criteria will be activated that can narrow down this search. Whereas if in SECTION you select “Publications”, the AUTHOR option will be automatically activated and you can select the author. Or if in SECTION you select “Documentation”, its own categories will be activated (Jurisprudence, Scientific Doctrine, Administrative Doctrine, Bibliography, Euskaraz Bakarrik, and Only in English), as well as the corresponding options AUTHOR, TOPIC, and SUBTOPIC. You will therefore be able to carry out specific searches by entering these variables.
To carry out related searches, bear in mind the following logic:
SECTION (AND) AUTHOR
AUTHOR (AND) TOPIC
TOPIC (OR/AND) SUBTOPIC

4. Order of results
When displaying the results, they will be displayed by default in a "top-down" way (from the most recent to the oldest), giving the option of also being able to organize the results in "ascending" (from the oldest to the newest) or "by categories" (sorted according to the default categories in SECTION).
