The XII Ituna Conference on the Economic Agreement, organised by the Documentation Centre of the Economic Agreement and the Regional Treasuries, was held last 31st October under the title “Economic Agreement and financial autonomy: the (dis-)fitting of the regional treasuries in the Law on Budgetary Stability and Financial Sustainability. Present and future“.
The opening was given by the new Deputy of Treasury and Finance of the Provincial Council of Bizkaia, Ms. Itxaso Berrojalbiz Zabala and the Director of the Centre, Mr. Joseba Agirreazkuenaga Zigorraga.
The aim of the conference was to study and explain the current situation of the Provincial Treasuries in terms of financial autonomy, as well as to reflect on the future fit of the Economic Agreement and the Provincial Treasuries within the framework of the Law on Budgetary Stability and Financial Sustainability.
