During the year 2022, several activities of interest related to the content of the Economic Agreement have been held, both with regard to its tax and financial aspects:
On 28 March, the X Ituna Conference was held, , organised by the Ituna Centre and Ad Concordiam with the title “The Quota in the light of its negotiators and protagonists (1841-2022)“.
On the other hand, the Master’s Degree in Tax Consultancy of the University of Deusto organised, at the beginning of March, the 1st Deusto Conference on the Economic Agreement in which Gemma Martínez Bárbara, Deputy Director of Tax Consultancy and Policy of the Treasury of Bizkaia and treasurer of the Ad Concordiam Association, participated as the main speaker with the lecture “Challenges of the Economic Agreement in the era of global taxation“.
Finally, at the end of October, the conference of the International Association of Center for Federals Studies (IACFS) was held at the Bizkaia Aretoa in Bilbao, focusing on fiscal federalism and territorial inequalities and the management of subnational public finances.
